Diets don't work

diets don't work

Are you the one who believe that diets do not work? Read on…

Fact

Ultimately, if you take less calories than you need, your body will start to use up the stored fat to get the extra calories it needs to function properly. This will gradually result in weight loss.

My advice is to follow a moderately restricted diet instead of a crash diet that bans your favorite foods and leave you feeling hungry.

Commitment, discipline and motivation works BUT you are more likely to give up if you follow a diet with too many restrictions and you will end up saying that the diet didn’t work.

Dietitian Lavleen’s tip

Follow a balanced diet that enables you to include your favorite foods (except junk 🙂 ) and never aim to lose more than 500gm – 900kg a week. To lose 500gm of fat, a body needs to burn 3500 calories more than you consume. Therefore, it makes sense to lose 500gm in a week by reducing your calorie intake by 500 calories a day.

If you are looking for a permanent and healthy weight loss, keep focused, eat intelligently, go slowly and steady and you will not only lose weight but feel healthier and happier than ever. Losing weight is about creating a healthy lifestyle. If you are able to lose weight by following some quick tricks and tips, you will regain more than you lost very soon.
