  1. CLINIC VISIT: If you are based around Chandigarh, we suggest you to set up an appointment and visit our clinic for consultation. Visit www.lybrate.com/dietitianlavleen to book your appointment now or call 0172-4569278 between 10am and 6pm Mon-Fri. Visit will be required once every week.
  2. ONLINE PROGRAM: Are you away from our city or living in a different part of the world, on a tight schedule, having a medical problem or just too lazy to visit the clinic? Sign up online, complete health assessment, pay online, get diet charts, interact with Dt Lavleen & monitor your health – All online! You can enroll into the program online at our eClinic at www.dietitianlavleen.zest.md. In the online program, weekly consultation will happen over the phone and diet plans will be delivered via SMS or email.

    I work with an international firm in Chandigarh with rigorous travelling for almost 15 days a month. Please suggest if taking diet plans would be helpful and if yes can I take it online because visiting the clinic would not be possible at all.

    • While it may be possible, but it is not something we can help you with as we try to stay away from quick weight loss. Quick weight loss can be dangerous in the long run. Gradual and natural weight loss is the best weight loss method when achieved from healthy eating and regular exercise. We believe in creating healthy lifestyles rather than promoting quick weight loss diets, pills and use of supplements. So in short, to answer your query, losing 30-35 kg in 7 months is not a realistic goal. You can aim for that weight loss in an year. Basically, just switch to a healthier lifestyle and start some type regular physical activity. Your weight will take of yourself. Stop thinking about the weighing scale all the time.       First of all congratulation to you and to your guide for reducing 10 kgs in 5 months. Plateau is a natural phenomena so trust yourself and your guide.

      Keep in mind that, as long as you stick with your workouts and healthy eating, you’ll typically start losing weight again after few weeks. It’s also important to remember that while you may not be losing weight, you should be experiencing positive changes to your body like a smaller waist, more toned stomach. Just keep going.     I am on Syntroid 135mg from last 6 years and have arthritis in left knee so can’t do enough workout too. Please recommend if weight loss plan would help me reduce weight being a thyroid patient and knee injury. I need to loose at least 10-15 kgs.
